This document (hereinafter referred to as "Online Reviews Policy") governs the terms and conditions under which customers who have purchased products on the chicandmodesty.com website (hereinafter referred to as "Customers") and/or users of the chicandmodesty.com website use the service of ratings and reviews on orders and purchased products (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") offered on the "chicandmodesty.com" website and managed by the French company chicandmodesty .com (hereafter referred to as “chicandmodesty.com”) to share their experience on the website “chicandmodesty.com”) (hereafter referred to as the “Website”) operated by the company Chic & Modesty (hereafter referred to as “Chic & Modesty”) and/or on products and orders.
To submit a rating or review, the Customer or User can go directly to the website https://chicandmodesty.com/ of chicandmodesty.com and search for the Website among the referenced sites and:
• leave a review of their experience on the Website;
• leave an opinion on a product. To do this, the Customer or User must go to the product sheet in question.
Customers can also give an opinion on the Site and/or on the products in the following way: once the order has been placed, Chic & Modesty sends Customers an email inviting them to leave an opinion on the "chicandmodesty" website. .com”.
This email is addressed to Customers:
• approximately one (1) week following shipment of their order for reviews on the Site. To give their opinion, Customers must then click on the link in the email which takes them directly to the chicandmodesty.com site;
• approximately two (2) weeks following shipment of their order for product reviews. To give their opinion, Customers must then click on the link in the email which takes them directly to the chicandmodesty.com site;
By posting a note and/or a notice, the Client and the User guarantee that:
• they are the sole author and owner of the intellectual property rights relating to the content;
• all published content is accurate, complete and truthful;
• they are at least 18 years old;
• use of the content provided does not violate the Online Reviews Policy and/or chicandmodesty.com's Terms of Service and does not cause injury to any person and/or entity;
• they respect the image and reputation of Chic & Modesty;
• they do not use the Service, directly or indirectly, for commercial purposes.
In addition, the Client and the User agree not to send any content:
• that they know to be false, imprecise or misleading;
• infringes any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights, rights of publicity or breaches the privacy of any third party;
• that violates any law or ordinance, decree or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing privacy, consumer protection, unfair competition, discrimination or false advertising) ;
• that is or may reasonably be considered to be defamatory, incite hatred, racially or religiously biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing any individual, partnership or business;
• for which they have been paid or received compensation from any third party;
• which includes information referring to other websites, addresses, email addresses, contact details or telephone numbers;
• that contains viruses, worms or other potentially harmful computer programs or files;
• which would make it possible to enter a computer system, or to alter the content or to commit any of the offenses punishable by articles 323-1 and 323-7 of the Penal Code (“hacking”), or to carry out the sending of unsolicited messages in bulk via the Service, a practice punishable by article 226-18 of the Penal Code;
• that disables or interferes in any way with any function of the Service.
The Customer and the User agree to indemnify and hold Chic & Modesty harmless from all claims, demands and damages (direct and indirect) of any kind and nature, known and unknown, due to a violation of the Online Reviews Policy and/or the above representations and warranties, or Customer's or User's violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
All content sent by the Customer or User may be used at the sole discretion of Chic & Modesty and/or chicandmodesty.com under the conditions provided for in the general conditions of use of chicandmodesty.com and by the Notices Policy online. Chic & Modesty does not guarantee that the Client and the User will have recourse to modify or delete any content they have sent. Written ratings and reviews are generally posted within two (2) to four (4) business days and are retained for as long as the Customer's or User's account is open on the chicandmodesty.com site. Ratings and/or comments relating to Chic & Modesty will not be subject to any compensation. The Client and the User acknowledge that it is they, and not Chic & Modesty, who are responsible for the content of their contribution. No part of the content sent will be subject to an obligation of confidentiality on the part of Chic & Modesty, its agents, subsidiaries, partners (and in particular chicandmodesty.com) or third party service providers as well as their respective directors, representatives and employees. The Service is accessible via the “chicandmodesty.com” website seven (7) days a week (7) and twenty-four (24) hours a day.
However, due to the nature of the internet and the outsourcing of the Service, Chic & Modesty does not guarantee operation and access to it, seven (7) days a week (7) and twenty-four ( 24) hours a day.
Chic & Modesty and/or chicandmodesty.com reserve the right to no longer offer its Customers or Users the possibility of using the Service.
In addition, the Customer and the User are informed and accept that the Website and/or the Service may be interrupted for reasons beyond the control of Chic & Modesty and/or chicandmodesty.com which cannot guarantee continuous access to the Website and/or the Service.
In any case, Chic & Modesty can in no way be held responsible for any interruption and/or malfunction of the Website and/or the Service, whatever the cause.
The Customer and the User are invited to inform Chic & Modesty of any technical problem encountered during its navigation and/or use of the Website and/or the Service by writing and describing the problem encountered by e-mail to service -client@chicandmodesty.com
Use of the Service is subject to French law. The validity, execution, and interpretation of this applicable Online Reviews Policy is also subject to French law.
